Game Rules
Apex Legends Standard Ruleset
1. Lobby & Match Configuration
Each tournament lobby uses its own Match Room. Players assigned to that lobby may view the Match Room, while only team captains and tournament admins may send messages there.
Lobby codes, lobby-specific announcements, and official instructions for that lobby will be shared through the correct Match Room. Players and teams must use the Match Room assigned to their own lobby only.
2. Match Format
This series consists of 6 games played in the same lobby.
The winner is determined by the highest total points accumulated across all games in the series.
Each team consists of 3 players.
3. Scoring System
Scoring uses the ALGS scoring model unless stated otherwise.
Placement Points
- 1st: 12 · 2nd: 9 · 3rd: 7 · 4th: 5 · 5th: 4
- 6th–7th: 3 · 8th–10th: 2 · 11th–15th: 1 · 16th–20th: 0
Kill Points
1 point per kill.
4. Map Pool & Rotation
5. POI Rules
No POI rule is enforced for this tournament.
6. Legend Ban System
This tournament uses the Apex preset Legend Ban System.
After each game, the legend picked by the most teams in that game is removed from the available legend pool for the rest of the series.
If more than one legend is tied as the most picked in the game, the tied legend picked most across the series is removed. If it is still tied, the banned legend will be chosen randomly.
If an entire legend class would be fully removed, the legend from that class that has been banned the longest returns to the available pool, and the ban process continues until no class is fully removed.
7. Disconnects & Technical Issues
If a major technical issue affects the lobby before competitive play meaningfully begins, tournament admins may restart the game.
If a technical issue affects multiple teams in the same game and materially compromises competitive fairness, tournament admins may pause, restart, or otherwise resolve the game at their discretion.
Single-player disconnects, crashes, or client issues do not automatically guarantee a restart unless tournament admins determine that the issue materially affected fair play under the tournament's technical rules.
8. Competitive Integrity
All participants are expected to compete fairly and follow tournament and platform integrity rules at all times.
Cheating, exploit abuse, ghosting, teaming, stream sniping, or any other unfair competitive behavior is prohibited.
9. Penalties
Tournament admins may apply penalties for rule violations, competitive integrity violations, refusal to follow tournament instructions, lobby disruption, or other conduct that harms fair tournament play.
Penalties may include warnings, score adjustments, forfeits, disqualification, removal from the tournament, or escalation to platform admins where appropriate.
10. Tiebreakers
If two or more teams finish with the same total score, ties are resolved in the following order:
- Best Placement — The team with the highest single-game finishing placement ranks higher.
- Points in the Best-Placement Game — If both teams share the same best placement, the team that earned more total points in that game ranks higher.
- Highest Single Match Kills — If the tie still remains, the team with the highest kill total in a single game ranks higher.
- Admin Decision — If the tie still cannot be resolved, tournament admins will apply the final tiebreak decision.
11. Admin Procedures
Tournament admins may issue lobby instructions, delay match start, pause tournament operations, restart or review games when necessary, and communicate official rulings through the platform.
All official tournament decisions will be communicated through the platform and the correct lobby Match Room where relevant.
